What to specify
Use these fields to describe your requirement. Values are supplied by the buyer or the responsible integrator; this reference does not list an in-stock SKU or a universally compatible replacement.

Sample and acceptance review
Ask for range specifications with test conditions and representative sample data. Define how invalid or out-of-range readings are reported.
A common purchasing mistake
A maximum advertised distance is not guaranteed for every surface or lighting condition.

Compare sensors without mixing different metrics
Datasheets may report different definitions of accuracy, resolution, latency or sensitivity. A comparison table is useful only when the metrics refer to comparable conditions.
