Calibration and sensor-service accessories
Reference targets, protective covers and mounting fixtures should have a stated role in a measurement workflow. A service accessory is not automatically a traceable standard.
What to specify
Use these fields to describe your requirement. Values are supplied by the buyer or the responsible integrator; this reference does not list an in-stock SKU or a universally compatible replacement.
| Requirement | Information to include |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Geometric, radiometric or mechanical check |
| Device | Sensor and software workflow |
| Reference | Certificate/data requirement if applicable |
| Condition | Storage, handling and cleaning |
| Geometry | Size and fixture interface |
| Replacement | Wear and recertification criteria |
Sample and acceptance review
Request the applicable reference documentation and handling instructions. Record which sensor/workflow uses each accessory.
A common purchasing mistake
Do not call an uncharacterized printed target a certified calibration reference.
